You can order a registration plate for your vehicle to replace a lost or damaged plate. You can also change the plate type or the registration number of your vehicle in certain conditions. In addition, you can order an extra plate for your vehicle.
You can order a registration plate for a vehicle:
- with a former registration number
- to replace a lost or damaged plate
- with or without the EU marking (change of plate type)
- to be used as an additional registration plate
- as a black registration plate
- as a small plate with a white background.

You are the owner or the holder of the vehicle.

Do the following
Place the order at an inspection station offering registration services
Bring an identification document with you.
If necessary, bring the document required for ordering the plate with you.
You must pay for the registration plates when you order them.
Collect the registration plates from the inspection station within two weeks of ordering them
You can use a temporary registration plate in your vehicle for a maximum of one month after you placed the order.
